For nearly 1500 years, Benedictine monasteries have been places of prayer, community, and welcome. In 2029, the global Benedictine family comes together to celebrate this living tradition, to reflect honestly on where we stand, and to look with hope toward the future.

Pilgrimage

Walk the Benedictine Way

Pilgrimage has always been part of the Christian life, and Benedictine monasteries have always been places where pilgrims are welcomed as Christ himself. During the Jubilee, monasteries around the world will be opening their doors to visitors. Come for an hour or come for a week. Visit a single monastery or trace a route across a whole region. Order a Pilgrim Passport to carry with you and collect a stamp at each place of hope you visit.
