History
- On May 13, 1972, the young monks were moved to Saigon, living in Thủ Đức.
- On February 5, 1976, Priest Beđa Giuse Ngô Minh Thúy was chosen as the first Superior of Thiên Phước.
- On February 11, 1976, Archbishop Paul Nguyễn Văn Bình welcomed the Monastery as a member of the Archdiocese of Saigon.
- On September 3, 1987, the Monastery was elevated to autonomous status.
